"The Last of the Mohicans" Chapter Three Summary
Chapter three of my book is a conversation between a few Indians and a few white hunters or scouts. During the conversation they talk about stories from their fathers and about some of their history. In the chapter one of the Indians proceeds to kill a deer with only its antlers in view. At the end of the chapter one of the Indians can hear people riding on horseback and can tell that they are white men.
"The Last of the Mohicans" Chapter Two Summary
In chapter two of “The Last of the Mohicans” the book mainly talks about the horse ride that these two women take, Alice and Cora, to the “Holy Lake.” There is a lot of dialogue in this chapter and a lot of words that are hard to understand. There is not much that happens in this part of the book though. Mainly it is just Alice and Cora being escorted to the “Holy Lake” by their English guards who are following an Indian guide.
